Say Hello to the SBA’s Coronavirus Relief Plan

Whether you are a small business owner who has been forced to close, or a worker who has been furloughed as a result of Governor Northam's shutdown of non-essential businesses, there are ways you can get relief.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU:

If you are a small business owner, (even if you are the only one on the payroll), you can obtain a loan from the SBA that will turn into a grant and doesn't have to be repaid if you use the funds for payroll, rent and utilities. You must keep your workers on the payroll in order to receive this loan (grant). If you have larger expenses there is also a capital loan program as well.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

A good place to start is the Small Business Administration's Coronavirus Relief web site. You can start the application process online and then set up an appointment with a local bank to fill out the remaining paperwork for the loan. More details:
